摘 要:开展通识教育选修课程“微生物的发酵世界”,旨在通过讲授基础微生物学及发酵工程知识,提升全校学生的理工科学素养。该文从课程建设的意义出发,强调了其在改善非生命科学专业学生知识结构、培养理工科逻辑思维等方面的重要性。该课程教学改革的手段包括充分的课前准备、学生试听课的设置、内容改进(如思政元素的嵌入、专业背景的衔接、实际工厂发酵案例的讲解)以及创新的考核模式。在实际教学中,以上措施有效提升了学生的兴趣和课程教学质量。

Exploration of Teaching Practice for the General Education Elective Course“The World of Microbial Fermentation”

Abstract:Offering general education elective course“The World of Microbial Fermentation”aims to enhance the scientific knowledge of all students on campus in science and engineering by teaching basic microbiology and fermentation engineering knowledge. This paper starts from the significance of course construction and highlights the significance of this course in improving the knowledge structure of non-life science students and fostering logical thinking of scientific and engineering major. The methods of teaching reform in the course include thorough pre-class preparation,setting up student trial classes,content improvement (incorporating ideological elements,aligning with professional backgrounds,and explaining actual factory fermentation case),and innovative assessment models. In practical teaching applications,these methods have effectively increased student’s interest and improved teaching quality.
